Perception Video

I think that the video was pretty interesting, but it made a good point.

Everyone has a different perception on different things, and life.

You should never judge someone by their cover because you don't know what they've been through.

If you are someone that judges other, you should be ashamed of yourself and knock it off! 

1st Grading Period

I think I'm doing way better than I have before with my grades.
The last two years I have had 3-4 F's per grading period.
This year, I only have one F which I plan on bringing up next grading period.
But yeah, I'm doing way better in school than I ever have (Even though I goof off more, haha xD)

• I like that I can chat with friends and keep up to date on current events and outtings.
• Chatting with friends and sharing about my life.
• You can upload many picutes at one time.
• The IM gets messed up occasionally.
• The compettitors for Facebook are Myspace and Twitter. I like Facebook better because you can post all kinds of videos and pictures, you can IM, message, or write on someones wall, you can create pages to keep people informed about certain things, and you can share videos, links, and music!
• If I had to change one thing about Facebook I would change the advertisements so they weren't so inappropriate such as, "Hot Single Christan Women Looking For A Sexy Date."

• I like Google because it helps you search what your looking for weather it's a definition or document, or a video of monkeys throwing feces at each other... Google has it all!
• I use this site mainly to look up pictures and definitions.
• A good thing about it is that it helps you find exactly what you want.
• A bad thing could be if you were searching pictures of baby chickens, and you typed the word "chick," you could get some pretty inappropriate pictures of women and stuff like that. Basically, the searched engine isn't filtered well.
• Competitors for this site would be Yahoo, Bing, and Ask.
• If I could change something about Google I would make the search filter better.

• What I like most about this site, is that of course you can send Emails, but it also has a good filter that blocks out more spam than other sites.
• I use this site so send Emails and keep connected with friends.
• A positive thing about this site is that you can create different folders to organize your Emails in.
• A negative would be that you can still get spam even though it has a good filter.
• Competitors for this site would be, Yahoo mail and Hotmail.
• If I could change one thing I would make it so that no spam came through to any ones account, ever!

• If I could change one thing I would make the search engine a little more advanced so you can find the exact song you want a lot faster.

Hello there!(: My name is Oliver Scantlin. I have 2 younger sisters, and one older brother. My parents are together, and we have a pretty decent house. We used to have 3 cats, but we had to get rid of them because we felt that they deserve better than what we could give them. I really enjoy playing drums. Drum and music are my life, I don't know what I would do without them. I am very involved with my church, drum-wise. I play on the Sunday morning worship team, and the Sunday night Jr. High worship team, and the Wednesday night Sr. High worship team. I love my church. I attend Avalon Missonary Church on the corner of Lower Hunington and Airport express way, in Waynedale. I also love playing the guitar! I'm not that great yet, but it's a good challenge for me to work at. Another instrument I enjoy playing, is the bass guitar. I love playing bass because it's not to hard and I can play some pretty sweet licks. I mean seriously, what is music without bass!? It's like, peanut butter with out the peanut!
I have many friends and I love hanging with all them, espcially at the mall! I attend an awesome high school, which would be South Side! I am a freshman and this school year has been pretty go for me so far.
I also enjoy cooking. I love creating new foods and exparmenting with different recipies, as well as altering.
